El Gran Gigante is a Puerto Rican X New Orleans fusion restaurant inspired by the lively and bright cultures of both locations. The logo is a fusion of a vejigante mask from PR and a joker from NOLA as well as a fleur de lis. Vejigante is a word derived from gigante, used for a cultural costume in PR. New Orleans is also known as the Big Easy. These two concepts were fused for the name in spanish El Gran Gigante.

The texture in the background of the menu and many other elements was made from a photo of my grandmother's backyard in Puerto Rico where wild palm trees and Aves de Paraíso grow.
