Save the Blue is an ocean conservation organization that seeks to save the blue of the ocean that is changing due to climate change. As areas of the ocean that are full of plankton grow colder these microorganisms are forced to move to places like the arctic where the ocean is increasingly warmer. Plankton are the reason the ocean is blue and are a huge source of oxygen for humanity, our survival depends on them and vice versa.
In this campaign I created a few pieces of merchandise including a sweatshirt, a reusable water bottle, and a tote bag. These items are intentionally ones people can use over and over again rather than single use plastics. Supporters of the cause can purchase these items and the profits will go to save the blue.
The questions posed throughout the campaign are meant to highlight the urgency and significance of the campaign. This issue is affecting us now and we must act upon it; the consequences are too drastic to ignore.
